Playing opportunities
Beginner Juniors may play golf here with their parents beginning at age 6 years old, after 4 pm during the golf season.
Juniors 12 years and older can become certified juniors by taking a written and playing test which will give them access to the golf course unsupervised, any time Tuesday through Thursday and after 10:30 am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Can not make reservations until 2 pm). The tests are designed to be easy to pass and give the kids more access to the golf course.
Our juniors who like to compete and play on some of Westchester's finer golf courses may join the Rye Golf Clubs Junior Inter–Club team in the summer. And PGA Junior League in the Spring. We are always looking for players to fill the roster.
We also host our own junior club championship each August.
Instruction
Here at Rye Golf Club, we offer; junior clinics for golf members, boys, and girls 6 yrs old to 9 yrs old, and also for 10 yrs old to 14 yrs old. There are three different sessions, spring, summer, and fall.
